Code of Conduct
Ambifest exists to build a safe, inclusive space for London's creatives, centred around Ambition, Connection and Wellness. This Code of Conduct applies to everyone at an Ambifest event or Ambi Con — attendees, volunteers, vendors and partners.
Expected behaviour
Be respectful and kind. Get consent before taking a close-up photo of someone or posting their image. Be mindful of others' personal space and comfort. Welcome newcomers — a big part of why people come to Ambifest is to make new connections.
Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, hate speech or abuse based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or any other protected characteristic. This includes unwanted physical contact, following or persistent unwanted attention.
Cosplay & costumes (Ambi Con)
Cosplay is welcome and encouraged. Costumes should stay family-friendly. Sharp, bladed or functional prop weapons aren't permitted without prior approval — see our Health & Safety policy and the Ambi Con FAQ for full detail. Cosplay is not consent — always ask before photographing or touching someone's costume or props.
Alcohol & substances
Where a venue serves alcohol, please follow venue rules — Challenge 25 and ID checks apply. Illegal substances are never permitted at any Ambifest event.
Reporting a concern
If something doesn't feel right, please speak to any volunteer at the event, or email info@ambifest.com afterwards. Every report is taken seriously.
Consequences
Behaviour that breaches this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, removal from the event without refund, or a ban from future Ambifest events, at our discretion.
